Corporate Affiliates Program
2003 CAP Meeting Information - May 8, 2003
The goal of the Corporate Affiliates Program (CAP)
is to develop strong, mutually beneficial relationships between the department
and industry. Corporations can join the program via annual
contributions or by granting other resources needed to support research
or graduate student education.
Advantages of membership:
- assistance in recruiting students and recent graduates,
- access to the department faculty,
- notification of recently completed theses,
- invitations to special events on campus,
- notification of special talks and colloquia.

A Synopsis of Recent CAP Activities
The Annual CAP Meeting. At the CAP annual meeting held once a year in the spring, electrical
engineering faculty, students, and our industrial colleagues make technical
presentations on the latest exciting research developments. These technical
interchanges provide the affiliates and departmental members with opportunities
to gain firsthand knowledge of research activities taking place in the
department and the industrial sector.
