The Slocum Glider: Revision 2

The Glider Power Measurement Infrastructure is ultimately a low power modular sensor platform capable of monitoring systems and collecting real world data. A second revision is being created to surpass the flexibility of the original design so it can be used in more applications and undergo fewer software and hardware changes due to the modular nature of the sensors and system. The Glider PMI will be a distributed system where several slave boards, capable of mounting up to eight sensors each, will interface with a single master board by utilizing its power lines and sending over processed data. The master will instruct each slave board to sleep, collect data, or send data and will store any sent data onto a microsd card.
