Welcome to my small world ! **

I am a Masters student in the Electrical and Computer Engineering Department of Rutgers- The State University of New Jersey. I'm specializing in Wireless Communications and Networking in  WINLAB, one of the top academic wireless research centers in USA.

I have done my Bachelor of Electrical Engineering from Jadavpur University, Calcutta, INDIA in the year 2000. After that I worked for 2 years in PricewaterhouseCoopers, India as a Consultant in Technology Solutions.

I'm a Graduate Research Assistant in WINLAB. My research interests include IEEE 802.11 MAC, multimedia transmission over wireless networks, networking and network security.

Currently I’m working on the problem of efficient video multicast over Wireless LANs with Dr. Dipankar Raychaudhuri, Dr. Wade Trappe and Dr. Sanjoy Paul at WINLAB, Rutgers University. For more information about my work, go to the Research page.
