About me
I am a Ph.D candidate at WINLAB/ECE, Rutgers University working with my advisors Prof. Wade Trappe and Prof. Dipankar Raychaudhuri. I also collaborate with Prof. Larry Greenstein.
I have wireless research experience in Wi-Fi technologies like 802.11a/b/g/n/ac, mobile WLAN, LTE, system modeling, performance analysis and experimental evaluations. I have done my undergrad in India with Instrumentation and Control Engineering. For my master's thesis, I worked on the performance analysis of cellular network with coexistence of small cells under the guidance of Prof. Raychaudhuri.
For my PhD thesis, I have designed models and algorithms to support coordination among multiple radio technologies and networks. It involves performance characterization of coexisting networks, understanding location specific spectrum usage and proposal of coordination algorithm. During PhD, I interned at InterDigital, Bell Labs and Mimosa Networks. Each of them have given me different flavours of the work environment - Communication standards development at InterDigital, core research and thoroughness at Bell Labs and engineering/applicability of solution at Mimosa.
I have been involved in official/unofficial mentorship of graduate and undergraduate students at WINLAB. I have also been an active reviewer for premier communication conferences and journals.
