I am currently working full-time at Aruba Networks, Sunnyvale, CA. I graduated in Oct 2007 with a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering under the supervision of Dr. D. Raychaudhuri. My thesis focus was on developing a cross layer network architecture for efficient packet forwarding in wireless networks.
I was a member of the Mobile Networking Group at WINLAB, Department of Electrical Engineering, Rutgers University.
I was involved in the design and deployment of the 400 node ORBIT wireless tesbed at Rutgers University which focuses on the creation of a large-scale wireless
network testbed to facilitate a broad range of experimental
research on next-generation protocols and application concepts. This
recently featured on the MIT
Technology Review article amongst the ten emerging
technologies
My research areas and interests include Computer Networks, Wireless Ad-Hoc and Mesh Networks, Cross Layer Design for Wireless Networks, Location estimation and location based services in wireless networks, Network testbed design, Performance evaluation, Virtualization of Wireless Resources
