UWB has recently emerged as
an interesting and potentially significant candidate for next-generation
wireless local-area, personal-area and sensor networks, particularly
in scenarios which require robust scalable and uncoordinated operation.
The FCC has recently established initial rules for UWB operation,
thus paving the way for commercial applications of the technology
during the next few years. More>>
              Currently, I am a Ph.D student
concentrated on UWB with Wireless Information Network Laboratory
                (WINLAB), Rutgers
                University. My advisor is Prof.
Spasojevic. I received B.S. and M.S. degrees in Electrical
                and Electronics Engineering Department (EE)
                from Tsinghua University,
Beijing, China, in 1998 and 2001, respectively.

              Our
project is at an early stage and is being scoped for corporate
and federal funding of a larger program. Initial work on UWB propagation
models, PHY simulation is currently in progress. More>>
